Monoprinting, Mixed media, Digital Editing
210 * 297 mm Saddle Stitch

As one of the graphic novel zines in the "Future Forecast" project, The Still Day imagines a highly technological society where natural resources are scarce and only accessible to the wealthy. During a sudden power outage, the protagonist takes advantage of the city's brief stillness to sneak into an exclusive garden, where she reconnects with the plants and animals she knew in her childhood.

This story highlights the profound need for humans to reconnect with nature, even in a world dominated by technology. The project offers a thoughtful reflection on the cost of technological advancement in modern society, gently critiquing humanity's disconnection from nature in a rapidly evolving world. It invites the audience to reconsider their relationship with technology and nature, pondering how to preserve a sense of connection to the natural world in a technology-driven future.
